AppMachine Data allows you to store data and show it in your app. You can also make the data editable in your app for specific user categories if you want.
You can create your own tables within Appmachine to show it to your app users. You can even create Edit or Add forms in your app to give your app users the functionalitity to edit your data or add new data. Read the article below or watch the video
Click Data in the left side navigation
Click Create Table
Choose from where you want to store the information In this case you select AppMachine Table
After creating a table, you will need to open the Content tab in the left side navigation
Click the red +block Button
Select the Advanced tab
Click Add this block
Select the Table you just created to show the information from the Table you just created in your block.
Select the Data tab in the left side navigation.
Select the Fields tab if you want to checkout, edit or add the configuration of the table or select the Data tab if you want to checkout, edit or add rows to the table.
After you have configured your data, you can add blocks to your app to make the data visible
Open the Content tab of your app
Click the red + block button
Select the Advanced tab
Click Add this block
Select the right data table
In your app a green List block will be added with a detail page below it.
You can finetune the Detail page in the same way.
You can create your own Blank table or use one of our Table with some demo data
Give your table a Name
On the Fields tab you can add or enter more fields
On the Data you can add more items with the Add item button in the top right corner or Edit a row by double clicking on it.
Select the right table in the AppMachine Table section
Select the List to show a list of items in a screen. The detail page will be added automatically
On the List block you can Enable or disable information to show in the list using the switches.
For advanced editing, select the Elements tab in the left top corner. This article explains to you how to use the element editor to fine tune the design .
